Colorado Wildflower Images - Columbine Late Mornin
High atop the Rocky Mountains near the Continental Divide, you can find a copious amount of Coloardo wildflowers. At one of my favorite places for photographing these colorful landscapes, Butler Gulch, there are meadows filled with paintbrush, pink elephants, daisies, and more. But on the rocky ledges that surround the meadow, the state flower of Colorado, the Columbine, can be found. This image of columbine was taken in the morning as clouds moved overhead, creating the perfect filter and allowing soft light across the entire vista.
