On the first day of March in the Texas Hill Country, I visited Pedernales Falls State Park. I arrived a bit before sunrise. While waiting for the light, I was serenaded by a chorus of turkey calls. The upset fowl were obviously upset at my presence. Still, I enjoyed the morning and did not see another person in the time I was there. Quite a nice morning for a Texas sunrise!
