Alone in a bluebonnet field - this is how I found myself after a spring storm had passed, leaving the sky painted in reds and purples. I was surrounded by the scent of Texas bluebonnets on that absolutely still Texas Hill Country evening in San Saba County- a wonderful experience I will not soon forget.
