Bluebonnet images were difficult to find in the Spring of 2013, but in Ennis, Texas, there were some Texas wildflower pictures to be had. After photographing sunrise over a field of bluebonnets one morning, I came across this patchy field of bluebonnets with Longhorns grazing, and in this case, nuzzling each other in their peaceful pasture. I was amuzed watching the cowbirds as they watched and waited for a change to grab a quick bug. These two longhorns approached each other, nuzzled their heads together ever so gently for a few seconds, then walked off together in the bluebonnets and grass.
