I drove several hours from Austin to reach this field near Whitehall, Texas. When I arrived, the low clouds were thick and a colorful sunrise was not happening. I hung around, admiring this beautiful field of Texas Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush, and finally, the clouds began to break up. While I was busy photographing these Texas wildlfowers, I began to noice all the bumblebees buzzing around me. There is even one in this image. Do you see him? Texas Bluebonnets are beautiful when their colors explode. This field was made even better wiht the mix of red paintbrush throughout the scene.
