Hunting for bluebonnet pictures in the spring of 2013 turned out to be a pretty difficult task. The opportunities for Texas wildflower images were few and far between. However, I was able to spend some time on the backroads near Ennis, Texas, and found a few really nice areas. This image was from Union Hill Road along the Ennis bluebonnet trail. I visited this site several mornings and captured a few images of bluebonnets just as the sun burst over the horizon.
