I arrived early on the grounds of the state capitol in Austin, Texas. The lights were still on in the dome and the morning light was just beginning to shine down. If you get a chance to visit this Texas landmark, walk around on the 22 acres and see the many statues honoring the state's heroes. Visit the rotunda and enjoy the views of the 2nd highest capitol in the United States - second only to the US Capitol in Washington, DC
